We're looking for a few stylists who've already put in the work — and are ready to put their name behind ours. This is an invitation to teach the method we've built our reputation on, and to build something lasting alongside it.
See If This Is Yours to BuildI started this company because I was tired of certification experiences that felt rushed and impersonal — talented stylists left to figure out the business side entirely on their own. I built the education I wished I'd had.— Madison, Founder
Madison Taylor Extension Company exists to make a truly luxury certification experience accessible to stylists at every stage of their career — not just technical training, but the business principles, ongoing support, and genuine investment it takes to build something that lasts. Every person who works alongside us, and every stylist who trains with us, is family. That doesn't change as we grow.
As an MTEC instructor, you'll lead our certification classes — teaching stylists the installation method we've built our name on, start to finish.
There's no ceiling here. Teach a handful of classes a year, or build this into the center of your income — the size of the opportunity is genuinely up to you and what you're willing to put into it.
You'll be the face students remember. The standard they measure the rest of their career against. That's not a small thing, and we don't hand it to just anyone.
We care more about grit, coachability, and a genuine heart for people than years in the chair or how many followers you have. If you show up, follow through, and treat this like it's yours — you're exactly who we're looking for.
The kind that outlasts a hard week, not just a good one.
Willing to be taught our way, even after you've mastered your own.
Reporting, communication, and logistics handled — even after the class ends.
We'd rather tell you now than find out later. This role isn't a fit if:
If none of that sounds like you — keep reading.
One of our instructors has added over $10,000 a month to her income since she started teaching for us. She didn't get there by treating this like a side gig — she's fully invested in her students and in what we're building. That's what happens when someone treats this like it's theirs.— Madison, Founder
Instructors are paid on an even fifty-fifty split of class revenue. The more you build, the more we both earn — it's a structure made for people who want to build something substantial, not just pick up a one-time check. We'll walk through the exact numbers together in your interview.
No black hole. No runaround. Here's exactly what to expect once you apply.
Fill out the short application below. You'll get an email right away confirming we received it.
Every application is reviewed by our team, not a filter. If it feels right, we'll follow up directly.
We'll schedule a video call to get to know you, answer your questions, and see if it's a mutual fit.
Tell us about yourself. If it feels like the right fit on both sides, we'll be in touch soon.
